– IME Workshop with HR expert Andrew Jones

Have you ever looked at your organisation chart and asked yourself ironically, who organized that? The answer may not be clear. Many organizational charts are snap-shots of ongoing emergent, organic processes driven by necessity and expediency, and they are often out of date. Occasionally, the organization is designed and maintained intentionally by colleagues in HR, Strategy or other functions.

Organization Design is one of the steps that should come between strategy and execution. It seeks to answer the question ‘What is the best organizational structure, communications systems and policies to enable my firm to achieve its strategic objectives?’

In this brief Workshop we will explore some of the principles and perils of Organization Design in a fun interactive experience, with learnings that you can take back to your own organization.

You will as well experience how the HR module of the IME Mini MBA looks and feels like and get to meet our HR lecturer, Andrew Jones, who will facilitate this free evening workshop.

As the last part of the workshop Asger Daugbjerg, Director at IME Singapore, will introduce you to the IME Mini MBA Executive Certification program (next course start in Feb 2018).

We will wrap up the evening with networking event with a glass of wine or two and some snacks.

Andrew Jones, Executive Coach at Accadence, Entrepreneur & Mentor, IME Mini MBA Lecturer in Human Resource

Andrew is a passionate developer and leader of people, with 25 years of global leadership experience based in Asia. He started his career in the UK and continued in the Middle East in the 1990s in HR & Technology Consulting and Leadership roles. Andrew moved to Singapore and Deutsche Bank in 1998, where he became Managing Director in the Human Resources, Technology and Operations Global Functions. Since 2012 Andrew is an independent Executive Coach. He is also a Teacher and Career Counsellor at Singapore Management University and INSEAD on their Masters programs. Andrew trained in Coaching at Ashridge Business School and holds the INSEAD Masters in Coaching and Consulting for Change.
